Currently we are looking for Firmware Development Engineer.
As part of our team, you will be working on validation of low-level code for latest generations of Ethernet datacenter solutions.
Your responsibilities in this position will include but not be limited to:
Designing, coding, debugging, execution and reporting of automated/manual tests.
Creating and documenting validation strategy/plan/tests of Firmware components and features.
Participation in system and Si validation strategy/plan creating and process.
Taking part in Firmware architecture reviews.
Taking part in planning of team activities as part of Agile process, refinement of validation tasks and participating in other Agile ceremonies.
Proposing and introducing improvements leading to better efficiency and quality of products and processes.
Work with relevant teams inside Intel from different geo-locations.
Work on many other topics related to exciting cutting-edge technologies.
Following external industry standards.
Representing constant growth of technical expertise in assigned areas.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's and/or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Automation, Electronics.
Experience and understanding of Software/Firmware validation goals and processes and Software/Firmware development lifecycle.
Experience in automated validation.
Competent C#/C skills or any scripting language knowledge and experience.
Ability to develop, maintain and debug automated validation suits and scripts.
Experience with validation on hardware.
Knowledge about networking protocols.
Good analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and willingness to work in agile environment cooperating with other teams in multiple geo-locations.
Communicative knowledge of English in speech and writing.
Willingness to learn new topics, improve own skillset, influence processes to increase team efficiency and product quality.
Familiarity and experience with using AI tools for validation and automation purposes.
Familiarity with PC or servers hardware components.
The following will be considered an advantage:
Knowledge and personal interest in hardware, networking, Ethernet, data centers.
Programming passion.
Experience with networking equipment and modern data center elements configuration.
Interest in developing and debug of low-level Software/Hardware.
Experience working in SAFE or any other Agile implementation.
Professional certificates like ISTQB, CCNA, CCNP, etc.
