Job Description
Content Producer, Education & Community
What you'll do
Create content that engages — Tutorials, course lessons, and video scripts that help people actually understand and use Gumloop (and AI generally). You'll partner with product and engineering to get the details right, then translate those details into something clear and compelling.
Produce video end-to-end — Record, edit, and ship walkthroughs, feature overviews, and course content. You own the full process from script to published video thumbnails, captions, descriptions, and all (no requirement to be on camera if you don't want to be!)
Build and engage the community — Be a consistent presence in our community channels. Surface common questions, turn them into content, and make sure people feel supported as they learn. Help shape cohort programs, webinars, and other touchpoints that bring users together.
Manage the content pipeline — Keep multiple projects moving across formats and stakeholders simultaneously. Run approvals, hit deadlines, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Know what the moment calls for — Not every feature needs a polished tutorial. Sometimes a quick Loom or a forum reply is the right call. You're close enough to the product and the community to know when to invest and when to ship fast.
Push the craft forward — Experiment with new formats, teaching approaches, and AI-powered tools to make content better and faster.
You might be a great fit if you…
- Are genuinely excited about teaching people how AI works and what they can build with it — not just using it yourself, but helping others get there.
- Have experience creating educational or product content in a fast-paced tech environment — blog posts, courses, video, or some combination.
- Can produce video confidently (shooting, editing, publishing) using tools like Screenflow, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or Descript.
- Write clearly and can adapt your voice across formats — a tutorial, a changelog, a community post, a webinar script.
- Are comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders without losing the thread.
- Obsess over clarity — you'd rather rework something three times than ship something that doesn't land.
- Get excited about using AI and automation in your actual workflow, not just as a talking point.
Nice-to-haves
- Motion graphics skills (After Effects, Jitter, Osmo etc.).
- Experience with community platforms, cohort-based programs, or developer education.
- Familiarity with tools like Figma, Webflow, or Airtable.
- Experience with Gumloop — or the kind of curiosity that means you'll learn it fast.
What we offer
- Competitive Bay Area salary.
- Full health, dental, and vision.
- 401(k) with match.
- Annual learning & tools budget.
