THE ROLE We’re seeking a Ops Lead, based in New York, to help scale Sandstone. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and GTM. You will act as a force multiplier for the broader team—owning critical initiatives, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring the company stays focused on what matters most. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a strategic partner to the whole team, helping prioritize time, decisions, and initiatives. - Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution, translating company strategy into clear goals, milestones, and operating plans - Drive the operating cadence including OKRs, quarterly planning, and executive offsites while ensuring alignment across Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, and Operations - Build and maintain dashboards and metrics that inform leadership decisions, conducting ad-hoc analysis on strategic questions related to market, product, financial, and operational matters - Facilitate effective leadership meetings with clear agendas and follow-through, improving internal communication and information flow across the company - Own and execute special projects that don't neatly fit into one function, stepping in where the business needs leverage most at any given time - Manage talent acquisition and the HR function as we continue to scale the team EXPERIENCE The role is well suited to candidates with backgrounds in top-tier consulting (MBB) or investment banking, who are looking to move closer to execution, decision-making, and company-building. - 2+ years of experience in Management consulting (MBB strongly preferred), or Investment banking, private equity, or a similarly rigorous analytical role - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable with exec-level materials - High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams - Strong ownership mindset and bias toward action - Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information - Desire to learn how a business operates end-to-end NICE TO HAVE - Exposure to startups or high-growth environments - Experience working directly with senior stakeholders - Interest in moving into an operating role over time (e.g. Ops, Product, Strategy) GROWTH OPPORTUNITY This role offers significant exposure to company strategy and leadership and is intended as a launchpad into senior operating roles within the business over time.
