In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving highly automated production equipment critical to our Body in White conveyors , assembly, and robotics operations. You will work hands-on with advanced mechatronics, robotics, electrical systems, and conveyance equipment to ensure maximum equipment uptime, safety, and reliability.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>You will: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all production and mechatronics equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and repair production-down equipment quickly and efficiently.</li> <li>Operate and repair every cell on a production line within Body in White.</li> <li>Perform corrective maintenance on multiple equipment types, including: Electrical systems (24 VDC to 480 VAC, 3-phase),Mechanical and conveyance systems, Hydraulics and pneumatics, PLC/network controls and robotics systems</li> <li>Conduct in-depth diagnostics, component replacements, and calibration on automation and mechanical systems.</li> <li>Order necessary parts, supplies, and equipment through proper inventory/sourcing channels.</li> <li>Document maintenance actions and communicate equipment status with production, engineering, and leadership teams.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all safety standards—modeling safe work habits and maintaining a clean, organized work area.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>You Bring: </strong></p> <ul> <li>4+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, or equivalent education/training.</li> <li>Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings, schematics, and precision measurements.</li> <li>Proficient troubleshooting skills across: Electrical/electronic systems, Mechanical/machining systems, Automation/PLC/robotics, Laser welding dispense systems</li> <li>Able to analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues, determine root cause, and implement long-term solutions.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, highly automated environment.</li> <li>Able to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.</li> </ul> </div> <div> </div> <div> <p><strong>Essential Physical Requirements<em>: </em></strong></p> <ul> <li> <strong>Standing and Walking: </strong>Ability to stand and walk for 8–12 hours per shift on hard surfaces in a production environment.</li> <li> <strong>Manual Dexterity: </strong>Frequent use of hands for handling tools, assembling components, and operating machinery.
