Department Overview Deployment Job Description Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations: Responsibilities include software deployment, optimization, troubleshooting, acceptance and support of communication systems solutions. Provide technical execution of specialized software systems and product applications including troubleshooting of software configuration, provisioning and performance optimization applications in an RF and or Broadband coexisting architecture. Configure, optimize, test and document software solutions and systems.  Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments.  Must have knowledge of communications systems, proficient in computer network installation, configuration and maintenance to include routers, switches, firewalls and bridges. Must be capable of installation of server hardware/OS and software infrastructure and troubleshooting to resolve system/application related issues. Skilled in understanding and defining software installation procedures Knowledge of wireless and broadband systems is desired Knowledge in standard telephony and dedicated data circuits, as well as knowledge of packet switching techniques are complementary Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite applications Should have strong self-management skills and people skills to work closely with Motorola’s customers, and subcontractor, as well as other internal  stakeholders as Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and customer service teams Must be self-motivated and self-managed to perform the required duties at a distance from direct supervision Must be able to solve customer problems quickly during stressful situations Must have excellent communications skills and always present a professional image Basic Requirements Basic Qualifications: Electrical, electronic, telecoms or software specialist with an emphasis on wireless communications and/or computer/networking in a Critical Communications environment Position Description Department Description: At Motorola Solutions, we help people be their best in the moments that matter.
