<p>Together, Carta is creating the end-to-end ERP platform for private markets. Traditional ERP solutions don’t work for Private Funds. Private capital markets need a comprehensive software solution to replace outdated spreadsheets and fragmented service providers. Carta’s software for the Office of the Fund CFO does just that - it’s a new category of software to make private markets look more like public markets - a connected ERP for private capital. </p>

<p>At Carta, our employees set out on a mission to unlock the power of equity ownership for more people in more places. As an <strong>Event Marketing Intern</strong>, you will spend 10 weeks embedded in our high-velocity Integrated Marketing team, gaining hands-on experience in how world-class events drive business growth.</p>
<p>We are looking for a proactive intern who is eager to marry best-in-class event experiences with Carta’s unique brand POV and market position. You thrive in environments where "fast-paced" is the baseline and aren't afraid to jump into the deep end. You are a holistic thinker who is excited to learn how different event strategies complete the user journey. Above all, you possess an "owner mentality"—no detail is too small if it means delivering a delightful and enriching experience for our customers and prospects.</p>
<p><strong>During this 10-week internship, you will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Support Event Execution:</strong> Assist in planning and production of live and virtual event formats, from intimate invite-only activations to large-scale webinars. You’ll help manage all pre and post event details including timelines, attendee list and invite coordination, registration, logistics and reporting. </li>
<li><strong>Contribute to Demand Gen:</strong> Learn how event programming accelerates the sales funnel by assisting with lead capture processes and tracking how events result in measurable impact.</li>
<li><strong>Cross-Functional Coordination:</strong> Work across Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing, and Customer Marketing and other marketing functions to ensure event assets (landing pages, emails, social copy) are on brand, support event objectives, and ship on time. </li>
<li><strong>Association, Media Company, and Event Ecosystem Research:</strong> Research and identify potential partnerships and influencers with platforms that can amplify Carta’s message</li>
<li><strong>On-the-Fly Problem Solving:</strong> Support the team in solving real-time logistical puzzles, maintaining a proactive "jump-in" attitude during high-pressure event days.</li>
<li><strong>Data ROI Analysis:</strong> Assist in post-event reporting by gathering data on attendance and engagement to help the team inform future investment and strategy.</li>

<p>Location: San Francisco (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mandatory in-office)<br>Duration: 10 Weeks (June 8, 2026 – August 14, 2026)<br>Commitment: 40 hours per week<br>Compensation: $25.00/hour</p>
