Role Summary:NerdWallet is seeking a dynamic CRM Manager to direct a team of marketing managers focused on initiatives related to NerdWallet logged-in experience. This team drives loyalty, engagement and long-term retention by designing and operationalizing engaging multi-channel programs across email, push, in-app and SMS.The Manager, CRM will identify NerdWallet priorities and translate them into the CRM roadmap. Key responsibilities include establishing campaign strategies to drive optimization for the NerdWallet logged-in experience, managing a team of CRM Managers, and delivering data-driven insights and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders. This role requires data driven decision making, keen attention to detail, and strong communication skills with an ability to articulately present to any audience at any level.Where you can make an impact:Identify and translate business goals into effective CRM marketing strategy and roadmapDrive the strategy and vision for all campaigns within area of responsibilityManage and mentor a team of CRM marketing managers helping to prioritize work while seamlessly flexing between player and coach to ensure successful outcomesImplement and optimize day-to-day processes to increase team velocityUse data to drive decisions around campaign optimization and performance targetsCascade campaign metrics, trial data, and best practices to relevant stakeholdersPartner cross-functionally with Analytics, Product, Engineering, Program Management, and Creative teams to identify and act on opportunities to create broad reaching impactMap the customer journey and build appropriate segmentation strategies from onboarding through churn mitigation and winbackYour experience:We recognize not everyone will meet all of the criteria. If you meet most of the criteria below and you’re excited about the opportunity and willing to learn, we’d love to hear from you.5+ years of CRM, lifecycle marketing, and/or digital marketing experience for technology-enabled companiesDeep expertise in strategic and technical marketing with an emphasis on email and push channels2+ years marketing management experience with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performance marketing teamsAbility to build and deliver campaigns utilizing CRM tools such as iterable, segment and othersExperience building and scaling lifecycle marketing programs across multiple channels such as programs to support app users across mobile and email channels, rewards programs, retention campaignsKnowledge of and hands-on experience working with multiple email service providers (ESPs) and/or engagement marketing toolsExperience analyzing data and using insights, market trends, and competitive analysis to inform campaign decisionsExperience working cross-functionally within a matrixed organizationExperience working on a FinTech, PropTech, or Real Estate industryWhere:This role will be remote (based in the U.S.).We believe great work can be done anywhere.
