<p>We're a strategic, high-impact team that partners directly with leadership to build world-class employee experience and people infrastructure. We own the full employee lifecycle - from offer acceptance through growth and development - and serve as trusted advisors who shape how we support, retain, and develop talent in a competitive market.</p>
<p>People Operations isn't just about administering programs. It's about building the systems, culture, and experience that will define how Pave scales and how our team shows up every day. You'll have the tools to succeed, autonomy to innovate on process, and direct exposure to high-impact company-building decisions that shape our culture, compensation philosophy, and how we operate as we grow.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #4065ff;"><strong>What You'll Do</strong></span></h3>
<p><strong>Employee Lifecycle Operations</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Lead HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, documentation, and employee records management</li>
<li>Execute on seamless onboarding experiences that get new hires productive fast and continually improve the process</li>
<li>Manage offboarding processes that maintain our culture of transparency and respect</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and internal policies</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Payroll, Benefits Compensation</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage payroll processing, bonuses, and annual compensation cycles accurately and confidentially</li>
<li>Oversee benefits administration (healthcare, 401k, leave policies, PTO) and serve as point of contact for employees and vendors</li>
<li>Support compensation review cycles and ensure changes are reflected systemically</li>
<li>Continuously assess competitiveness of compensation and benefits packages</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Systems Process Improvement</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Own and optimize our HRIS (HiBob) to improve efficiency</li>
<li>Track and analyze people metrics (turnover, engagement, hiring speed, performance outcomes)</li>
<li>Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and create scalable processes</li>
<li>Build dashboards that give leadership real-time insights</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Immigration Compliance</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage work authorization processes (H-1B transfers/renewals, TN, green cards) and coordinate with immigration counsel</li>
<li>Stay ahead of employment law changes across SF, NYC, SLC, and Krakow</li>
<li>Navigate multi-state and international compliance requirements</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Performance Development</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage performance review processes, goal-setting, and professional development programs</li>
<li>Support managers with coaching, feedback, and growth planning</li>
<li>Partner with leaders across GTM and RD to understand team-specific people needs</li>
</ul>
