ABOUT BROWSERBASE
Browserbase is a serverless infrastructure platform that powers headless browsers for AI agents, web automation, and data collection at scale, enabling developers to spin up thousands of browsers in milliseconds globally. We handle the complexity of managing browser fleets—offering built-in features like captcha solving, residential proxies, session recording, and Live View debugging.
We’ve hit strong product-market fit with developers building everything from AI agents to large-scale web scrapers. Backed by top investors (Series B-funded and growing fast), Browserbase is defining the browser infrastructure category.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Brand Designer to craft our visual identity across all touch points. You’ll be joining our growing design team, collaborating with other designers, engineers, and marketers to translate complex technical ideas into bold, memorable visuals that resonate with developers and communicate our mission clearly.
This is a high-ownership role for a designer who moves fast, values craft, and loves building a brand from the inside out.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Define & Grow our Brand: Shape the brand strategy, vision, and goals in our next phase of growth and build design systems that keep our identity consistent and flexible across every touchpoint.
- Lead Creative & Marketing: Lead creative direction for product launches, customer stories, events, and marketing campaigns that make Browserbase stand out in a crowded developer tools market.
- Design Across Mediums: Translate designs into high quality assets for websites, merchandise, event materials, office environments, email templates, social graphics, presentations, and everything in between.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Engineering to align brand work with business goals.
- External Collaboration: Work with agencies, freelancers, and creative partners when needed. Set creative direction, provide feedback, and ensure quality standards.
- Quality Standards: Set and maintain high standards for craft. Create a culture where thoughtful feedback flows in all directions and every piece of work pushes the brand forward.
YOU'RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU...
- Have 3-5 years of brand design and art direction experience at technical or product-driven companies, ideally in SaaS, developer tools, or infrastructure.
- Showcase a portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, systems thinking, and versatility across mediums and formats. Show us work with strong typography, thoughtful hierarchy, confident use of color and form.
- Are fluent in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, AI-powered design tools, and quick to learn new software and integrate it into your workflow.
- Possess clear communication skills. You can articulate design decisions, manage stakeholder expectations across multiple projects, and present work convincingly.
- Are hands-on and fast-moving - able to prototype quickly, ship high-quality work, and strike the right balance between speed and craft, knowing when to perfect and when to ship.
- You've partnered closely with product and marketing teams to create unified brand experiences.
- You can define a visual and strategic direction on how to make a product memorable and execute it through graphics, patterns, motion, interaction, and spatial design.
- Are excited to work 5 days a week in our San Francisco HQ (or open to relocating here).
NICE TO HAVES
- You get how technical audiences evaluate tools, or you're excited to learn. (Experience in devtools is a plus but not required.)
- Experience managing brand evolutions or rebrands at growing companies.
