The VP, People Performance will lead CLEAR’s corporate People strategy and partner closely with senior leaders to drive organizational performance. We are looking for a solutions-oriented change agent who has a proven track record of partnering with business leaders to drive results. This role spans talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, change management, and talent acquisition in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
What you'll do:
Partner with leaders across the company to retain, develop, and motivate talent.
Build a deep understanding of business objectives, team dynamics, and priorities.
Design and execute innovative People strategies that improve organizational effectiveness and drive scalable growth.
Lead change management and transformation initiatives, ensuring teams are equipped to navigate complexity.
Oversee Talent Acquisition strategy to attract exceptional corporate talent and strengthen CLEAR’s employer brand.
Coach and develop leaders to build a culture of accountability, clarity, and continuous improvement.
Use data and insights to identify issues, opportunities, and trends; prioritize actions and deliver practical, high-impact solutions.
Execute People programs, including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, and succession, ensuring they deliver intended outcomes.
How you'll measure success:
Stronger organizational alignment- ensuring teams are structured, resourced, and equipped to execute strategic priorities efficiently.
Higher employee productivity via stronger leaders, clearer accountability, and well-run performance systems.
Reduced cost of attrition- improving retention among high performers and successors protects institutional knowledge and reduces replacement costs.
Faster scaling capacity- allowing CLEAR to meet ambitious growth initiatives without operational bottlenecks caused by talent gaps or inefficient org structures.
Mitigation of underperformance risk through proactive coaching, clearer expectations, and consistent performance management disciplines.
What you're great at:
A seasoned People leader with 15+ years of progressive experience, including leadership across talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness and people strategy, ideally in the technology space.
Proven ability to influence at the executive level, coach leaders, and build trusted partnerships across complex teams.
Experience in scaling a high-growth environment, balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
Skilled in leveraging data-driven insights to inform decisions and measure the impact of people programs.
Exceptional communication, judgement, and change leadership capabilities, with a focus on results and employee experience.
Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities.
Adept at building, leading, and developing high-performing People and TA teams that deliver exceptional business outcomes.
