Together, we will change the future of energy, because the world can't wait.What You Will Be DoingWe are hiring a Director of Capacitor Production to lead the multi-year scale-up of Helion’s capacitor manufacturing organization. In this role, you will take an existing, fast-growing production team and expand it to high-volume operations that can support Helion’s transition to generator mass manufacturing. You will play a central role in shaping the production organization and how Helion builds capacitors at scale – owning organizational growth, production strategy, and deep technical alignment with manufacturing and design engineering.This role is forward-looking and highly influential. You will work closely with senior and executive leadership to plan and execute a multi-year factory ramp, while remaining deeply engaged in the technical details that enable step-change improvements in manufacturability. You will report to the Director of Capacitor Manufacturing and be based onsite at our Everett, WA facility.You WillLead and scale the capacitor production organization through a period of rapid growth, expanding the team to support a brand new factory and significantly increased production ratesOwn the strategic hiring and organizational plan for capacitor production, including technicians, supervisors, production managers, and supporting roles that aligns with the company’s multi-year roadmapManage and mentor production managers, enabling them to build strong frontline organizations that can execute day-to-day production and enable longer-term scalingPartner closely with Manufacturing Engineering to translate equipment capability, process constraints, and factory layouts into realistic production plans and staffing modelsWork with Design Engineering to drive hardware and process changes that improve manufacturability, reliability, and scalability of capacitor bank hardwareInfluence and refine the enterprise-level tools used throughout the factory that monitor and enable safety, delivery, quality and cost metricsServe as a senior leader within the manufacturing organization, collaborating regularly with Supply Chain, Engineering, Facilities, HR, EHS and other functions to enable factory expansion, workforce growth, and sustainable operationsBuild a production organization that is excellent at execution, operational discipline, and problem-solving, while ensuring systems, structure, and leadership depth to address chronic firefightingCommunicate plans, progress, and risks clearly to senior and executive leadership, influencing decisions that shape Helion’s long-term manufacturing strategyRequired Skills5+ years experience leading large multi-shift operations or in plant managementProven ability to lead managers and develop leadership depth within an organizationDemonstrated success building teams, processes, and organizational structure in fast-growing or early-stage manufacturing operationsExperience scaling from manual to automation production environments.Strong technical depth in manufacturing, with t ...
