Connect with us on LinkedIn and YouTubeAbout the role:We’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale the core systems that power Ambient.ai’s real-time AI security platform. In this role, you’ll work on software that ingests, processes, and interprets massive volumes of video and event data in real time - transforming raw signals into actionable intelligence for some of the world’s largest enterprises.You can expect to regularly take on technically challenging problems in a fast-moving, collaborative environment and to see your work deployed in mission-critical customer environments.What you'll do:Design and implement REST and GraphQL endpointsDesign and implement highly available, latency-sensitive, fault-tolerant microservicesCore infrastructure for processing large volumes of video streaming dataImprove the performance, reliability, and scalability of all backend servicesDevelop large-size platform problems and own small-to-medium platform features end-to-endYou will work as an important member of the platform team that owns one or more services/product features, end-to-endExpect to be challenged and stretch your skills regularly.What you'll bring:BS in Computer Science or equivalent field with a programming backgroundAt least 3+ years of experience building scalable and available web services.Strong experience working with at least one of the Object-oriented Programming Languages, like Python, Django, and React.js, would be requiredExpertise in APIs (REST / GraphQL), general web backend design principles, relational databases (MySQL / Postgres), streaming pipelines, pub-sub systems, and indexing systemsWrite clean and maintainable codeDesign and implement complex systems including communication between several services (pub-sub paradigm, microservices architecture)Manage service reliability, including any cloud operations work (AWS, Google Cloud)Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar tools/technologies will be highly preferredExperience building SaaS product offerings will be a huge advantage.Why join us:We are creating an entirely new category within a 120+ billion-dollar physical security industry and looking for team members who are also passionate about our mission to prevent every security incident possibleWe have an impressive customer roster of F500 companies, including Adobe, VMware, and SentinelOneRegular Full-time employees receive stock options for the opportunity to share ownership in the success of our companyWe offer flexible time off to rest and recharge, including Winter Break (time off between Christmas and New Year’s for most roles, depending on customer demand)The latest tech and awesome swag will be delivered to your doorEnjoy a full range of opportunities to connect with your awesome co-workersWe love to hike, are foodies, and love music!
