Finance Specialist - Capital Markets

<p><strong>The mission:</strong></p> <p>As a Finance Specialist in our Capital Markets team, you'll be at the center of high-impact, strategic financial decisions. Your work will help shape Baubap’s growth trajectory by supporting and closing fundraising efforts, conducting insightful financial analyses, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.</p> <p>You’ll work with a diverse, high-performing team to secure funding from a variety of sources including equity, structured debt, and unsecured lending, while contributing directly to Baubap’s mission of financial inclusion in Latin America.</p> <p>This is a high-ownership, hands-on role ideal for someone analytical, proactive, and excited to grow quickly in a dynamic fintech environment.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The expected outcome:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Enable senior management to make informed decisions through compelling, data-driven analysis.</li> <li>Contribute to equity fundraising efforts and lender negotiations with robust financial support and insights.</li> <li>Facilitate the company’s growth by ensuring strategic initiatives are well-structured and efficiently executed.</li> <li>Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of quarterly reporting process</li> <li>Provide actionable financial insights that align with long-term growth, sustainability, and capital-raising goals.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.</li> <li>4+ years of experience in financial services or banking</li> <li>Strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to go beyond surface-level analysis.</li> <li>Passion for leveraging technology to expand financial access in Mexico and the rest of LATAM.</li> <li>Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail are essential, as your work directly represents Baubap’s culture and level of professionalism.</li> <li>Fluent in English (written and spoken). </li> <li>Experience in Fintech, Startups, or Venture Capital.</li> <li>Familiarity with microfinance, credit, or structured finance.</li> <li>Proficiency with SQL or data analysis tools.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we can offer:<br></strong></p> <ul> <li>Being part of a multicultural, highly driven team of professionals</li> <li>20 vacation days / year + 75% holiday bonus (Prima Vacacional)</li> <li>1 month (proportional) of Christmas bonus (Aguinaldo)</li> <li>Food vouchers</li> <li>Health Life insurance</li> <li>Competitive salary</li> </ul>
