Every hire here has an immediate and visible impact.About the RoleWe're hiring a New Verticals Lead to launch and scale Avoca into new markets.This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of product, go-to-market, and customer execution. Working directly with the Head of New Verticals, you'll take new verticals from early exploration to repeatable revenue, defining entry strategy, leading design partner pilots, translating customer insights into product direction, and building the GTM playbooks that convert early traction into scalable deployments.This is not a strategy-only role. You are responsible for outcomes.What You’ll DoOwn 0 → 1 Vertical ExpansionDefine ICP and segmentation for each new verticalIdentify high-ROI workflows and entry wedgesStructure and launch early design partner pilotsEstablish success metrics and expansion plansTurn pilots into repeatable, revenue-generating deploymentsOperate Directly With CustomersLead discovery and implementation callsEngage executive stakeholders and operatorsCoordinate integrations and mobilize internal resourcesTravel to customer sites when neededOperate confidently in front of senior stakeholders—C-suite, PE fund MDs, and multi-location operatorsDrive Product AlignmentTranslate field insights into structured product briefsPartner closely with Engineering to scope and prioritize featuresBalance speed with long-term product clarityEnsure what we build scales across customersBuild a Repeatable GTM MotionRefine vertical positioning and messagingSupport Sales on qualification frameworks and pilot designDevelop early case studies and ROI narrativesIdentify and validate signals of product-market fitWhat You’ll Bring 3–6 years of experience in consulting, product, or high-growth startupsDemonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiativesStrong structured thinking and problem-solving abilityComfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environmentsAbility to move fluidly between executive conversations and detailed executionClear, concise written and verbal communicationBonus points for experience in vertical SaaS or AI-enabled products, working with multi-location operators or PE-backed businesses, or direct customer-facing / field experience in B2B.Why AvocaAt Avoca, you'll have rare exposure to building entirely new business lines inside a category-defining AI company.
