Every hire here has an immediate and visible impact.The RoleWe’re looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to be the operational backbone of Avoca’s hiring engine. This role is critical to delivering a best-in-class candidate experience while keeping our recruiting process fast, organized, and scalable.You’ll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to ensure interviews run smoothly, communication is tight, and nothing slips through the cracks. This is a great role for someone who loves details, thrives in a high-energy environment, and wants to grow deeper into recruiting or People Ops over time.What You’ll Do Own end-to-end interview coordination across multiple roles and teamsSchedule complex interview loops (onsites, panels, virtual screens) across time zonesAct as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview processDeliver a polished, thoughtful, and human candidate experienceMaintain clean, accurate data in our ATS (Ashby)Support recruiters with pipeline management, reporting, and follow-upsCoordinate offer logistics and support closing processesPartner with hiring managers to keep interviews running on time and on planContinuously improve recruiting workflows, templates, and coordination systemsWhat You’ll Bring 2–4+ years of experience in People Operations, Recruiting Coordination, or HR Generalist rolesExperience supporting recruiting processes and scheduling in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailClear, professional communicator who is comfortable working with candidatesAbility to manage multiple priorities and shifting timelinesHigh degree of discretion when handling sensitive informationBonus: Experience with HRIS, ATS tools (Ashby), or high-growth startupsWho You Are Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-growth environments.Thrives on owning processes end-to-end and balancing multiple initiatives simultaneously.Autonomous, self-directed, and comfortable working with ambiguity.A proactive and effective communicator.You are collaborative, organized, and efficient.Eager to work in person at our NYC office full time.Why AvocaAt Avoca, you’ll be part of a team that’s building a category-defining company at the center of a massive market opportunity.
