We’re growing quickly and aiming big! ***CURRENTLY ONLY CONSIDERING US- AND CANADA-BASED CANDIDATES FOR THIS ROLE*** JOB DESCRIPTION As an Account Executive at Chili Piper, you will drive Chili Piper's new business growth primarily by self-sourcing new deals, along with working with the SDR and Marketing team to build pipeline and close deals. You are excited about prospecting to potential customers, and are capable of identifying high potential Customers for Chili Piper. You are adept at identifying high value opportunities, performing cold outreach and capable of managing sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. You are used to delivering value in competitive situations and enjoy working on products that drive the future of Sales and Marketing. We take a data driven, analytical approach to sales, and are looking for someone who is confident in both prospecting, outbounding and demoing to future customers to help design our sales strategy. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Generate pipeline via cold outbound to prospective customers - Build and maintain client relationships - Track and record metrics throughout sales process - Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge - Identify high-potential prospects and develop and execute outbound strategies to bring them to Chili Piper, including cold-email, cold-calling, and Linkedin outreach - Hit the phones confidently with prospects from self-sourced and SDR generated efforts - Launch and test new outbound lead generation channels and determine how best to scale them - Work with the customer success team to ensure new customers are onboarded effectively. - 1:1’s with your manager, meet & shadow current members of the Chili Piper team - Set monthly OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager and develop an action plan to achieve them - Become a product expert and feel comfortable demoing and closing - Consistently achieve your activity goals QUALIFICATIONS WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 3+ years of sales experience, preferably at a technology company, with a track record of top performance - Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities - Superior verbal and written communication skills - Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment - Self starter who is used to working in a scrappy team - Strong interest in technology and AI - Experience with Salesforce CRM ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Why you'll love being a part of our team: Our team loves Chili Piper because we’re building the company of the future.  https://www.chilipiper.com/post/company-of-the-future - Work with an immensely talented global team - Work in a business that’s run fairly and transparently - Competitive pay based on market rate wherever you live - We lead by example--showing industry peers and leaders how to innovate, improve, and grow--while having fun How we work: - Freedom and flexibility. We’re a 100% distributed team working from around the world, and we've been fully remote since 2016. Our team members can work from wherever they want in the world, as long as they show up on our weekly all hands meeting on Zoom. - Solve interesting problems. The software landscape has exploded.
