Meet the Team Cisco is looking for an Account Executive with exceptional talent, drive, and ambition to join our team supporting Cisco’s NSW Public Sector accounts. In this opportunity-based role, you will have responsibility for the full Cisco product, software, and services portfolio, delivering value to our clients and building strong, strategic relationships across all levels of their organizations. As an Account Executive, you will develop and execute competitive account strategies in collaboration with your account team. You will partner with our extended team—including systems engineering, architectural specialists, services experts, legal, and finance—to drive outcomes across the full solution life cycle. Your focus will be on cultivating senior-level relationships, driving account planning, and executing effective sales strategies to help our clients achieve their business goals. Your Impact Executing against a sales strategy, lead large complex deals and position the business value of IT solutions to CIO’s and business leaders within your account(s) Focussing on profitable revenue generation in product and services Expanding Cisco presence driving relevance to customer's key business objectives Building and maintaining executive level relationships with customer and internally at Cisco Creating value for client account Developing and delivering accurate sales forecasts Achieving and exceeding defined targets and contribute to overall profitability, success and positive image of Cisco in the marketplace. Leading the selling strategy creating short- and long-term plans based on research and a deep understanding of business and technology trends Strategically driving Cisco's end-to-end vision for our customers, as well as maintain an in-depth understanding of competitive conditions, industry practices, market opportunities, and customer requirements. Minimum Qualifications: 10 - 12 years of technology-related sales experience with a focus on business development in large accounts, especially complex Public Sector accounts. Demonstrated success in sales, account management and sales leadership. The ability to build natural momentum within incumbent accounts while succeeding in displacing competitors. Ability to drive and deliver multimillion-dollar quotas while engaging at senior CXO Level. Demonstrated experience in leading virtual sales team to meet agreed targets, develop sales plans for specific accounts in line with company strategy. Excellent presentation skills - ability to value-sell and deliver engaging workshops/seminars to IT and business audiences on AI and/or infrastructure topics. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with defining and articulating a technology journey for your customers. Track record of growing revenue for new innovative technology-based solutions. Understanding of large business organizations and their buying cycles is preferred Ability to execute on a business plan to gain market share, build solid relationships with customers and internal constituents. Ability to manage a pipeline and forecast opportunities accurately to meet commit. Ability to influence and lead within a matrixed organizational model. Why Cisco?
