About the Team Finance Solution Consultants leverage their in-depth product knowledge of Workday’s Financial Management enterprise software and industry knowledge to provide deep functional expertise throughout the sales process. Solution Consultants partner with Account Executives to engage in discovery around an organization's current environment and deliver relevant, impactful presentations and product demonstrations that illustrate how Workday’s Enterprise applications can address requirements, solve business concerns, and create value. Workday’s India business was launched in Dec 2025 and is growing rapidly to encompass customers in the HCM and ERP/Financials domains. Rated as the clear leader in 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Cloud ERP Finance, we intend to accelerate our penetration the India market. As we continue to strengthen our position in this key market, there is an increased opportunity to expand our Finance and Planning business that Workday offers. Increasingly, organisations that want to transform the way they operate are replacing legacy systems with Workday’s SaaS Enterprise Management applications. About the Role To capitalise on the opportunities in this market and to scale the sales support and customer engagements to new levels, Workday is looking to augment our team with Presales Solution Consultants who can drive further success for Workday. Workday is looking for an experienced, senior level Presales Solution Consultant for our Financial Management team. This is your chance to represent and demonstrate next generation Financial Applications. Through pre-sales discovery meetings you will analyse an organisation's current operations and business needs then develop and present Workday's cutting-edge Financial Management solutions to address their requirements. If you are a finance professional with domain expertise and industry experience, ideally with proven Presales Solution Consulting experience, who is passionate about changing the way people, money and AI agents work, we’d love to speak to you. Specific responsibilities include: Opportunity support activity to prospective Finance clients and customers Participating in discovery workshops with users to formulate and document business requirements, including business processes, procedures and work practices Assisting in the development of winning and differentiating value propositions and themes/messaging to customers, in collaboration with the sales team Developing and championing Workday-based solutions to client problems, communicating them with the customer, implementation partners and internal stakeholders.
