ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a platform mindset to build core business systems and integrations. This role is business-driven first, with an emphasis on writing scalable, maintainable systems and leveraging automation and AI to improve engineering efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES - Build and maintain backend services (Node.js / Python, etc.) - Design and implement business-critical systems (e.g. subscription, billing, payments) - Integrate third-party payment systems (e.g. Stripe, PayPal) ⭐️ - Design scalable APIs and backend architectures - Collaborate with product and front-end teams to ship features quickly - Apply modular design and abstraction to improve maintainability - Use AI tools and AI agents to build automation workflows and improve productivity ⭐️ - Optimize system performance, reliability, and user experience QUALIFICATIONS - 3–8 years of backend engineering experience - Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js / Python / Go) - Hands-on experience integrating payment systems (e.g. Stripe) ⭐️ - Strong understanding of API design and web architectures - Experience with microservices or modular system design - Strong ownership and ability to deliver end-to-end features - Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) in development workflows - Good English communication skills NICE TO HAVE - Experience with platform engineering or DevOps (CI/CD, Kubernetes) - Experience building automation workflows using AI agents ⭐️ - Experience with subscription/billing systems - Experience with B2B products - Experience building systems from 0 to 1 WHY JOIN US - Work on a fast-growing global AI product - High ownership and high impact - AI-first engineering culture - Collaborative global team LOCATION - Taiwan，Remote work EEO OpusClip is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
