This role is designed for a recent graduate looking to build a career in project management within a technology-driven environment. You will support the delivery of complex integration projects that enable mission-critical communications and safety solutions. You will gain exposure to project planning, stakeholder coordination, and execution within a structured, global organisation. Job Description Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers in the planning and execution of system integration projects Assist with project scheduling, tracking milestones, and maintaining project plans Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, sales, finance, operations) to ensure alignment Prepare project documentation, reports, and status updates Track project risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate where required Assist in managing project budgets, purchase orders, and invoicing processes Support customer communication and ensure timely follow-ups Maintain accurate records in project management tools and systems Participate in project meetings and capture key actions and decisions Learning Outcomes Exposure to end-to-end project lifecycle management Understanding of system integration and mission-critical technologies Stakeholder management across technical and commercial teams Practical experience with project tools, reporting, and governance Minimum Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree (or final year) in: Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Industrial) Information Systems / IT Business Management or related field Strong academic record No prior work experience required (internship or part-time experience advantageous) Skills & Competencies Strong organisational and planning skills Clear communication (written and verbal) Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn Ability to work in a team and engage with diverse stakeholders Basic understanding of project management principles (advantageous) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Behavioural Attributes Proactive and takes ownership of tasks Reliable and accountable Curious and open to feedback Professional in approach and communication Able to work in a structured, process-driven environment Why Join Motorola Solutions Exposure to global projects and industry-leading technology Structured learning and development Opportunity to build a foundation in project management Collaborative and high-performance team environment Basic Requirements Ability to analyze problems and solve them creatively Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously Positive and professional attitude with the ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment Demonstrated ability to communicate issues and provide outreach using multiple medias (e-mails, telephone, etc.) Proficiency with MS office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, etc.) Travel Requirements Under 10% Relocation Provided None Position Type Intern Referral Payment Plan Yes Company Motorola Solutions South Africa (Proprietary) Limited EEO Statement Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
