ABOUT THE TEAM
As our team continues to quickly grow, we are looking our next Technical Program Manager to join our energetic and innovative team that is passionate about expanding autonomous maritime vessel capabilities within a cutting edge environment. As the inaugural Technical Program Manager for our Surface Maritime team in South Korea (ROK), you must be a technical leader with the expertise to evaluate, qualify, develop, and advocate for an increasing number of sophisticated parallel pursuits. You will be the external facing strategic relationship manager, bridging complex cultural, technical, and business discussions in both Korean and English. You will be expected to use your technical knowledge in conjunction with your program management skills to lead cross-functional efforts and deliver the best outcome for Anduril and our internal and external stakeholders. You will interface between Anduril's engineering, manufacturing, and business teams and Korean shipbuilding partners, driving execution of joint initiatives critical to scaling international production capacity.
This role is essential for establishing Anduril's presence in the Korean defense industrial base and building the relationships necessary to achieve our ambitious manufacturing scale objectives in the Asia-Pacific region. This position will have exposure to a wide variety of program planning, organization, and compliance activities. Preferred candidates will have defense industry experience in South Korea and the United States, as well as an understanding of international defense partnerships; maritime/shipbuilding industry knowledge; a willingness to learn; be a team player and be able to adapt to the changing needs of a fast-paced technology business. This position is available in Seoul, South Korea.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Establish trusted relationships with key stakeholders within our primary Korean partner, including executive leadership and technical teams. Executive stakeholder engagement in large, complex manufacturing organizations
Utilize your bilingual Korean/English fluency with ability to conduct complex technical and business discussions in both languages
Leverage cross-cultural business acumen and ability to navigate Korean business practices, decision-making processes, and organizational dynamics
Autonomously execute on broad and/or ambiguous requirements from external clients. Demonstrate high ownership on all pieces of work. Ability to structure complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and drive to closure
Develop and deliver on a partnership roadmap identifying near-term collaboration opportunities and capability gaps
Institute a regular cadence of executive business reviews and technical coordination meetings with partner organizations
This role will require regular local and international travel to support customer or project meetings, system integration, and system testing (~50%) depending on the phase of the project.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience, specifically in technical program management and/or systems engineering, or related project management in a relevant industry.
Professional fluency in Korean and English, with strong communication and presentation skills
