Working hours will be 20-32 hours a week during the school year and up to 40 hours a week on breaks/summers, with flexible hours around a student's school schedule while still in alignment with one of the following factory shifts: Shift 5: (Day): Sunday through Tuesday (every other Wednesday) 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM Shift 7: (Day): Thursday through Saturday (every other Wednesday) 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM What You'll Do (and more): The position will be hands-on, training on-site with factory floor presence. Perform functions associated with all wafer production, including operations, equipment, process, and training. Run product safely and qualitatively, multitasking, following procedures while executing to achieve output goals. Equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, defect reduction, and other duties as required, supporting fab objectives. Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, and schematics, as well as follow, comprehend, and complete verbal and written instructions and procedures. Deliver a clear and concise pass-down to peers and participate in resolving and sustaining issues. Communicate with people at different levels of the organization, including module technicians, managers, engineers, and others as needed. Expectations: Must be willing to lift 25 lbs. This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Spend most of the work time (more than 90 minutes, less break time) in a clean room environment working on tool sets, processing wafers, and standing or sitting for extended periods of time. Work in a clean room environment wearing a gown, hood, booties, safety glasses, and gloves for the duration of the shift. Perform Preventative Maintenance or troubleshooting on production equipment. Perform detailed visual inspection tasks. Use job-specific fixtures, basic hand tools, and potentially airline-supplied respirators. Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences. Minimum Requirements: Actively enrolled in a full-time locally accredited institution pursuing and successfully completed first year classes pursuing an Associate Degree or certification in a STEM, Technical, Microelectronics or Microprocessor Manufacturing related field.
