With more than $145 million in funding and trusted by organizations like Chick-fil-A, Delta Airlines, and the U.S. military, Ditto powers mission-critical experiences across aviation, retail, travel, hospitality, defense, and more. As a globally distributed, fast-growing startup, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive team that reflects the wide range of perspectives needed to solve the world’s hardest connectivity problems.
THE ROLE
As our VP of People, you will be the architect of the employee experience at Ditto — from the moment someone accepts an offer to the day they become one of our greatest advocates. You'll partner directly with the executive team to build the people infrastructure that lets us grow fast without losing what makes us great. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has seen what "good" looks like at scale and knows how to build it from the ground up.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
People Strategy & Leadership
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and leadership team on all things people, culture, and organizational design
- Build and lead a high-performing People team that supports a rapidly scaling workforce
- Anticipate the talent needs of the business 12–18 months ahead and build the roadmap to get there
Total Rewards
- Design, implement, and iterate on a competitive and equitable total rewards strategy — including compensation philosophy, salary bands, equity, and benefits
- Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure Ditto remains competitive at every stage of growth
- Build transparency and clarity into how employees understand and appreciate their compensation
Performance Management
- Build and own the performance management lifecycle — from review cycles and calibrations to promotion frameworks and PIPs
- Create a culture of continuous feedback that complements formal review processes
- Equip managers with the tools, training, and frameworks to lead high-performing teams
Goal Setting & OKRs
- Own the company-wide goal-setting process, partnering with leadership to cascade objectives from company to team to individual
- Ensure goal-setting is rhythmic, meaningful, and tied to business outcomes rather than a checkbox exercise
- Drive accountability and visibility into progress against goals across the organization
Talent & Culture
- Partner with recruiting to build a talent acquisition strategy that supports headcount plans across all functions
- Protect and evolve Ditto's culture as we scale — identifying the rituals, norms, and programs that reinforce who we are
- Champion DEI initiatives that are embedded in how we hire, develop, and promote
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 12+ years of progressive HR/People experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience scaling a people function at a high-growth startup — you've navigated the journey from ~50 to 300+ employees (or similar) and know what breaks when
- Deep hands-on experience building total rewards programs from the ground up, including compensation banding, equity design, and benefits strategy
- Track record of designing and operationalizing performance management systems that are actually used and valued by employees and managers
- Experience owning a company-wide goal-setting process (OKRs, MBOs, or similar frameworks)
- A builder's mentality — you're comfortable being both strategist and executor, and you don't wait for a team to get things done
- Strong executive presence and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Data-driven approach to people decis ... (truncated, view full listing at source)
