ROLE OVERVIEW At G2i, we don’t just hire for AI — we build with it. As a Design Engineer, you’ll turn the complexity of frontier AI systems into experiences people can actually use — clean, fast, and designed for engineers. Using React, Shadcn, and Tailwind, you’ll build interfaces that define how humans and AI interact. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Build and document UI components using React, Shadcn, and Tailwind CSS. - Collaborate with designers to translate Figma files into pixel-perfect code. - Implement and maintain design systems in Storybook and Chromatic. - Ensure accessibility, performance, and responsive design. - Contribute to front-end standards across internal and client projects. IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of front-end and design experience; or design engineering experience. - Recent startup experience — you move quickly and iterate fast. - Mastery of React, Shadcn, and Tailwind CSS. - Experience building design systems and UI libraries. - Solid understanding of accessibility and component-driven architecture.
