Role Overview A Data Captain is responsible for building, managing, and scaling a high-performing data collection team that captures high-quality egocentric video data using company-provided devices. The role combines team leadership, operational execution, quality ownership, and logistics management. A Data Captain has the opportunity to earn incentives up to ₹1,00,000 per month Key Responsibilities Refer, hire, and onboard minimum 10 data collectors ( scalable up to 20 ) Ensure daily and weekly data collection targets are met Manage data quality and adherence to recording guidelines Handle device logistics: pickup from office, distribution, collection, and return Hire/re-hire team members as needed to maintain targets Team Building Workforce Management Refer, recruit, and onboard a minimum of 10 data collectors to activate the team Scale the team up to 20 active data collectors based on performance and requirements Continuously hire / rehire / replace data collectors to maintain productivity targets Device Logistics Management Collect recording devices from the office and distribute them to data collectors Track device allocation and usage Retrieve devices from data collectors after completion Ensure devices are returned safely to the office in good condition Skills Required Team management and coordination Basic operational and device handling capability Ownership, accountability, and problem-solving mindset Our Values Empathy, Trust Candor We put ourselves in the shoes of our colleagues and customers and don’t shy away from uncomfortable conversations, instead building trust through honest and direct feedback.
