Intern: Trade Tech Support

A Day in the Life The Trade Tech Support (Intern) will be reporting to Global Deployment Lead and will be exposed to the handling Global Tech related project which includes but not limited to Power BI Dashboard development, Snowflake SQL, Power Automate workflow development, VBA Scripting/Coding, data validation, etc. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. This is a temporary position. Responsible for performing and supporting research for teams operating within a service group, or product group and/ or project group. Assists with the development, monitoring, coordination and implementation of technical projects as assigned. Provides analysis, reporting and internal communication services with team members. Develops knowledge of industry and organizational processes. OFFICE SUPPORT CAREER STREAM:  Individual contributors who provide organizational related support or service (administrative or clerical) for other members within the organization. The majority of time is spent in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. DIFFERENTIATING FACTORS Autonomy:  Entry-level position typically requiring little to no prior experience. Works on well-defined administrative and clerical tasks. Work is routine or follows standard procedures and is closely supervised. Organizational Impact:  Works to deliver on day-to-day objectives with some impact on achievement of results for the job area, including limited disruption or expense. Delivers job responsibilities following a defined standard output or set of procedures. Innovation and Complexity:  Provides data and information when minor changes may be required based on review. Problems faced are routine and solutions clearly prescribed. Communication and Influence:  Communicates with contacts typically within immediate job area. Obtains and provides information requiring little explanation or interpretation. Leadership and Talent Management:  N/A – Job at this level are focused on self-development. Required Knowledge and Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products; especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel & SharePoint Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python Knowledge of programming languages will be advantageous Strong analytical background (Quantitative, Qualitative skills) High initiative and innovative Skill/Competencies Strong communication and collaboration skills: Strong presentation and writing skills and ability to work in a team environment Adaptable and independent: Effectively adjusting to changes and dealing effectively with uncertainties in the work environment Creative problem solving: Analytical and able to generate new and valuable ideas and effective solutions to difficult problems.
