As a Staff Software Engineer, you will design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. You will help drive technical design, contribute to modernization of existing services, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions across enterprise and payment-oriented platforms. This role requires strong hands-on engineering depth, sound architectural judgment, and the ability to improve team standards through collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership. You will also play a key role in advancing AI-assisted software engineering practices, using tools such as Claude Code, Cline, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT to accelerate development workflows and partnering with teams to integrate LLM- and MCP-based capabilities into applications and internal workflows. Contribute to enhancements and changes across existing application codebases while improving maintainability, reusability, and system performance Develop code that complies with design specifications and follows security standards, Java/J2EE best practices, and industry-standard design patterns where applicable. Build clean, maintainable, and efficient software solutions that support quality, reliability, and long-term extensibility.
