About the Role We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Lead to manage our invoice processing team within the Accounts Payable (AP) division. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing teams, processing invoices, and experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite and COUPA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years of team handling experience. The role will also require experience in managing AP processes for mergers and acquisitions. What You’ll Do: Lead and manage a team of invoice processing associates to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices. Oversee daily AP operations, including invoice processing, data entry, and payment processing. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Manage and resolve invoice discrepancies, queries, and issues in a timely and efficient manner. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, including leveraging AI and automation technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and accounting. What You’ll Need: 10-12 years of experience in accounts payable, with a focus on invoice processing and team management. At least 2 years of team handling experience. Experience in managing AP processes for mergers and acquisitions. Proficient in ERP systems, specifically NetSuite and COUPA. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, procedures, and best practices. Experience with AI and automation technologies, including: Familiarity with AI-powered AP solutions and their applications. Experience in transforming AP processes using AI and automation. Understanding of data analytics and process optimization. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Bonus Points: Experience with other ERP systems or AP automation tools. Certification in accounts payable or a related field (e.g., APM, CPP). Experience in a similar industry or sector.
