Job Summary As a Hardware Product Management Leader within the Network Security (NGFW) portfolio at Palo Alto Networks, a core imperative of your role is to champion and guarantee unparalleled platform excellence. Your leadership will directly influence the ability of our largest global customers—spanning Enterprises, AI Data Centers, Service Providers (SP), and Mobile Gateways—to realize their strategic technical and operational objectives through the deployment of our cutting-edge hardware This role requires a high degree of readiness to jump into ambiguity, solving complex architectural challenges while spearheading diverse cross-functional teams encompassing Engineering, Technical Marketing, S&OP, Finance, and Customer Support. You are the ultimate owner of the hardware experience, ensuring our platforms lead the industry in performance, reliability, and ease of deployment. Key Responsibilities Integrate a security-centric mindset into every phase of the hardware lifecycle and lead the development of next-generation hardware that delivers unprecedented protection. Spearhead a hardware-accelerated strategy that performs full-stack inspection and advanced threat prevention at line rate, ensuring world-class security is never a bottleneck for performance. Develop and execute a forward-looking hardware portfolio strategy optimized for AI Data Centers, with a keen eye on industry trends that shape where and how hardware firewalls are placed within evolving AI fabrics. Conduct rigorous analysis into high-performance network security architectures, scrutinizing complex deployment models and hardware-accelerated features to push the technology spectrum for next-generation devices. Define and simplify complex scale parameters—including throughput, session density, and latency—to create clear guidelines that help customers accurately right-size their deployments for predictable performance.
