ARC Research Consultant – Quantitative Research, Fieldwork (L8)

Title and Summary ARC Research Consultant – Quantitative Research, Fieldwork (L8) Overview The Advisors Research Center (ARC) is a global team of researchers within Mastercard that delivers high quality, end to end research in support of Mastercard’s Advisors and Consulting Services. ARC partners closely with consulting teams and internal stakeholders to design, execute, and deliver rigorous research that informs strategic decision making for clients across industries and markets. As part of ARC’s continued growth, Global Facilities India (GFI) supports global and regional ARC engagements by providing scalable, high quality quantitative research delivery. The GFI team works closely with ARC researchers and consultants to ensure consistency, speed, and quality across research execution and outputs. This role sits within the ARC Quant Research capability in GFI and supports the visualization and communication of quantitative research findings for global projects. Role: As a Quant Research – Fieldwork Consultant, you will support the execution of quantitative research fieldwork across global and regional studies. You will work closely with ARC researchers, data processing teams, and external research vendors to help ensure fieldwork is delivered on time, within scope, and in line with ARC quality standards. Candidates for this position should have a solid foundation in quantitative research execution and an interest in fieldwork operations and data quality. Key responsibilities include: • Support the execution and monitoring of quantitative research fieldwork across studies • Coordinate with external research vendors on sampling, quotas, timelines, and field status • Track fieldwork progress and flag risks related to incidence, quotas, or timelines • Conduct basic data quality checks during and post fieldwork (e.g., completes, drop outs, speeders) • Support troubleshooting of fieldwork issues in collaboration with senior team members • Maintain clear documentation related to fieldwork status, decisions, and learnings • Collaborate with ARC researchers, data processing, and visualization teams to ensure smooth hand offs Qualifications & Skills: • 2–4 years’ experience at a research agency or in an in house research role contributing to quantitative research execution or fieldwork • Familiarity with online survey methodologies, sampling approaches, and quota management • Experience working with online tools e.g Decipher, AYTM, Display R etc. • Experience working with external research vendors or panel providers • Basic understanding of data quality checks and fieldwork best practices • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple tasks across parallel projects • Comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment • Experience supporting multi market or regional studies is a plus All About You • Naturally curious about human behavior and motivated to understand why people think and act the way they do • Willing to learn research methodologies and apply effective techniques • Comfortable working cross functionally with colleagues, internal stakeholders, and global team members • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources into a cohesive narrative • Comfortable asking questions and actively participating as a team member in internal meetings and project discussions • Enjoy working in a fast pa ...
