Job Description: Advanced Practice Provider for Cardiology – Denver, CO When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Cardiology Clinic at Saint Joseph Hospital. The selected candidate will partner with 7 general and interventional cardiologists and 6 APPs to help deliver exceptional care to cardiology patients in both and inpatient and You would practice at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado You would work 4 ten hour shifts during the weekdays outpatient and inpatient, no call/no weekends Rounding on general and intervention cardiology patients at Saint Joseph Hospital Includes pre procedure work ups for CATH cases Remove pericardial drains, temporary pacemakers when needed When rounding is complete, handle follow ups in the clinic and supervise outpatient treadmill Manageable volume with the opportunity to work with complex cardiology patients How we'll support you: We care about your well-being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package. What you’ll bring: We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require: · Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, required · Valid license/certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Colorado or able to obtain, required · DEA and prescriptive authority, required · BLS and ACLS, required · Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working as an NP or PA in a cardiology setting, required About us: Intermountain Health  is a model health system by providing extraordinary care and superior service at an affordable cost.
