The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of various administrative functions for a designated area or leader(s) in a time sensitive, accurate, and confidential nature. Primary responsibilities include task tracking, organization of data, calendar management, correspondence, travel/expense management, response to inquiries and requests, meeting management, and support of local facility needs.
Schedule - Monday - Friday with some flexibility around specific hours.
This is an in‑person Administrative Coordinator role based at Intermountain Medical Center supporting the Office of Research. The position is responsible for core administrative functions including timekeeping, inventory tracking, purchasing, and organized management of documents. The Administrative Coordinator ensures consistent adherence to established processes and workflows and maintains clear, accurate, and accessible documentation to support operational continuity and compliance needs. The role works closely with a variety of research operations teams and requires a high level of resourcefulness, including the ability to identify solutions using available tools and to assess, triage, and appropriately direct inquiries from external partners, internal partners, and caregivers on the team.
Essential Functions
The Administrative Coordinator works closely with their assigned group or leader(s) and serves as a liaison with other internal and external stakeholders.
Under the direction of the leader(s), caregiver may be assigned special projects and may lead out on teams and initiatives. Work is generally focused within a department or local service line.
The Administrative Coordinator provides support of a technical nature including remote meeting management, facilitation of presentations, and management of multimedia needs both by the leader(s) and meeting support.
M ay be responsible for department day to day operations and goals that relieve and assist the leaders of routine project or advanced administrative duties.”

Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail

Physical Requirements
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
