Volunteer Description: Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles. Alta View Hospital Volunteer Program: This is an unpaid position that gives you the opportunity to use your talents, meet new people and experience the pleasure that comes from making a difference in people's lives. Position: Unpaid Volunteer Roles Available: Information Desk/ Greeter/ Wayfinder Department Support Commitment: 80 hours over 6 months (one day per week, 3-4 hours) The volunteer program requires a six-month commitment - with a minimum of one 3-4 hour shift a week, exceptions being for vacation or illness. We're looking for individuals that can be here consistently. We depend on our volunteers because you truly do make a difference. Requirements: TB Test, Immunization Check, Annual Flu Vaccine Background Check Minimum age: 16 years Fully vaccinated Shift Availability: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. No weekend shifts or summer only shifts available Make a Difference: Join us in creating a warm and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and caregivers.
