ABOUT YOU You have a passion for doing things The Right Way, you believe Less is More, you want to focus on the foundations of system design and architecture (pacelc, consistency guarantees), you care as much about the code you do not write, you’re tired of the hype treadmill and care about the fundamentals. You have battle scars from over-engineered and underperforming slop, and you care about writing code that lasts. You're deep in the infrastructure layer — scaling systems, managing cloud infrastructure, building reliable distributed architectures. You've designed and operated production infrastructure on AWS, not just used managed services. You've been on-call, debugged production issues under pressure, and designed for reliability. You may be coming from a platform/infra team at a big tech company, a DevOps-heavy role at a scale-up, or anywhere with a serious AWS footprint. ABOUT THE ROLE Members of Technical Staff at Anterior own problems end-to-end — from system design through to production. You'll own the infrastructure that powers clinical decisioning at scale. A day's work may include: - Scaling and hardening our AWS infrastructure to meet growing enterprise demand - Analyzing request logs, debugging event streams, and improving system reliability - Designing and building backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that power our AI platform - Helping us migrate off CDKTF — if you've done this before, we want to talk to you - Building internal tooling to automate workflows and increase team leverage - Writing evals to identify weaknesses and drive improvements in our LLM-powered systems - Working across the stack when needed — from backend services to frontend — to ship complete solutions - Contributing to Anterior's SDKs, developer documentation, and platform architecture TECH - Langs: Python / Go / TS, React (and HTMX if you can help!) - Infra: Nix, AWS (currently on CDKTF — actively looking to migrate, bonus points if you've done this before) WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU This is an opportunity to join a company at its major inflection point, using cutting-edge technology to have a meaningful impact in healthcare.
