Software Enabling and Optimization Engineer

Job Details: Job Description: The Customer Experience and Support (CES) team within CEG NSG group is looking for a talented senior Software Enabling and Optimization Engineer to support Intel Ethernet products. The primary job role is technical enabling of Intel Ethernet product for both discrete Ethernet controller and integrated Ethernet IP on SOC. This includes technical debug and issue resolution of complex issues of Ethernet NIC integration with x86 CPU architecture and system platform. The role is also expected to work indepedently on resolving customer issues and drive resolution as delivery. The role will be expected to collaborate hardware developer to accomplish firmware debug and driver enabling. Complex issue debug, problem solving, multi-tasking, organization, and customer management skills are critical to success in this role. Some travel may be required as appropriate based on customer needs. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering along with minimum of 6 years of experience over similar area. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Strong analytical skills for problem abstraction and resolution. Good understanding of Ethernet protocol on analysis, such as IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, DHCP, ICMP, LLDP, MPLS, VLAN, VXLAN, DNS, BGP, etc. Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux driver of Ethernet device to integrate with x86 system. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and deliver quality result. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with enterprise workloads, cloud computing, HPC, AI, or edge technologies. Experience to configure and support enterprise network device, including Ethernet Switch/Router/Gateway, access point, or firewalls Exceptional communication skills and ability to deliver technical presentations.
