Job Description: About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Architect to define, build, and own the quality strategy for our energy storage software platforms. This role sits at the intersection of software quality, automation architecture, and complex control systems. You will drive test strategy across distributed systems, cloud services, hardware integrations, and field deployments—ensuring reliability, scalability, and safety at every layer. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who enjoys designing robust test architectures, mentoring teams, and solving hard system-level problems. Key Responsibilities Define and own end-to-end test strategy across products, environments, and deployment contexts (QA, lab, pre-production, and site deployments). Design, develop, and maintain scalable, maintainable test architectures used across multiple teams and products. Build and evolve UI and API automation frameworks for web-based and distributed systems. Drive continuous testing practices , optimizing execution frequency, reliability, feedback speed, and overall signal quality. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines , enabling fast, reliable releases. Design testing approaches for complex, distributed, control-oriented systems , including external integrations. Improve automation reliability, performance, and execution time at scale . Support complex issues and escalations through deep technical root-cause analysis . Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted testing tools where they deliver measurable value. Work with cloud and containerized environments (AWS, Docker, GitHub) from a testing and CI/CD perspective. Produce and maintain clear technical documentation , test strategies, and architecture diagrams. Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure testability is designed in early , not added later. Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end, working independently with minimal guidance. Required Qualifications B.S/BE degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Quality Engineering , or a related technical field. Total 14 years of experience in software quality engineering, with demonstrated ownership of test strategy. Around 6 years of experience in senior QA Architect position mainly working on test strategy, test planning and leadership role. Strong hands-on programming experience with Python . Proven experience testing web-based applications/ Enterprise systems , including API and UI automation. Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining Test architectures, Automation frameworks, and continuous testing systems that are used across teams and products. Experience in testing complex, distributed systems , especially control-oriented platforms. Experience defining and evolving test strategies across multiple environments (QA, lab, pre-production, site). Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration. Ability to work independently and drive technical decisions with confidence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Preferred Qualifications Domain experience in energy storage, energy systems, automotive, battery technology, or grid-level control systems, or industrial automation . Experience working with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or system-level testing environments. Familiarity with SCADA systems or industrial control systems.
