As the Strategic Account Manager – Insurance and Banking, you will lead ICEYE’s sales efforts into the insurance and banking sectors across Japan. You will be responsible for sales within the region, including originating new business with new customers, and extending the scope of use of ICEYE solutions within our existing customer base. This is not a standard sales role; you will contribute to the evolution of the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for these sectors in Japan and be the primary driver of ICEYE’s commercial growth in one of our most strategic markets. Japan will be your core focus and primary revenue responsibility, while you will also support the role of our Japanese business as a strategic hub for broader expansion within Asia. You will collaborate with other teams within the Solutions LoB to help shape our product strategy and service model for this important market. You will operate at the intersection of ICEYE’s agile, high-growth global culture and the complex, trust-based environment of Japan’s leading enterprises, while selectively contributing to regional growth initiatives across APAC. Your day-to-day responsibilities Grow ICEYE’s Solutions business in the Japanese insurance and banking markets by originating and closing new contracts with new customers, and extending the scope of use of ICEYE solutions within our existing customer base. Develop the end-to-end Go-To-Market strategy for Japan, identifying and capturing new market opportunities with ICEYE’s innovative solutions Contribute to a regional GTM strategy, grounded in structured market intelligence to inform ICEYE’s global commercial strategy, prioritize target accounts, and guide product development and resource allocation - Take full ownership of a designated strategic anchor account within the Japanese insurance market, with end-to-end responsibility for relationship development, revenue growth, and long-term partnership success.
