SUPO) The Mission of the Satellite Production Technician, Avionics Build and test satellite hardware accurately, safely, and consistently to specification. As a Production Technician, you assemble, inspect, and test satellite hardware according to defined procedures and quality standards, ensuring reliable and repeatable production outcomes. You work closely with engineers and quality teams, follow instructions precisely, report issues clearly, and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient production environment. Outcomes: (Deliverables/Responsibilities) - Assist in the hands-on assembly of RF subsystems and PCBA handling, including critical processes such as gluing and coating. - Support the execution of functional tests on satellite electronics to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards with zero defects. - Utilize tools like Jira and Confluence to accurately report tasks, log test data, and document non-conformances in real-time. - Help maintain repeatable test setups, jigs, and fixtures, ensuring the RF production environment remains organized and audit-ready. Requirements Technical Skills - A solid theoretical understanding of analog, digital, and RF circuitry, including frequency bands and signal integrity. - Comfortable working in a lab environment with a strong focus on hands-on hardware interaction. - Basic experience in operating lab equipment such as Signal Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and VNAs. - Familiarity with Linux environments and the ability to modify simple automation scripts (e.g., Python). - Proficiency in using digital documentation tools to report tasks and track progress. - Previous internship experience (6–12 months) in a technical or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
