Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Description: When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As an Advanced Practice Provider in Neurosurgery, you will work with a large system-wide team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. The neurosurgery team at St. George Regional Hospital currently has 3 neurosurgeons, and 7 neurosurgery advanced practice providers. Neurosurgery is part of a larger neurosciences team at St. George, including neurohospitalists, inpatient and outpatient physical medicine physicians, outpatient neurology providers, and pain specialists. St. George Regional Hospital is a level II trauma facility with a Primary Stroke Center and is Joint Commission accredited as a Spine Center of Excellence. In this role, you can anticipate: Practicing at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah 4 10-hour shifts per week; split between clinic, hospital, and OR Call 1:6-8 weeks, including nights and weekends (additional compensation offered) Working alongside neurosurgeons while also seeing patients independently in clinic Rounding on patients independently and in conjunction with a supervising physician Assessing, evaluating, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions Educating patients on conditions, treatment options, and risk factor modifications An ideal candidate for this position will have prior APP experience and thrive in a dynamic, patient-oriented environment.
