Practical Law, a division of Thomson Reuters is looking for a Practical Law Intern who has completed their second year at an ABA-accredited law school to work with one of our practice area teams (Labor & Employment, Real Estate, Litigation, Antitrust, Capital Markets & Securities, Privacy & Data Security). About the Role In this opportunity as Practical Law Intern you will: • Conduct legal research on various legal topics • Engage in quality assurance with respect to Practical Law content. • Assist in assembling content, including legal updates. • Summarize changes to primary law. • Provide additional support, as needed. • Be involved in at least one public issue project. About You You’re a fit for the role of a Practical Law Intern if you: • Demonstrate strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. • Demonstrate an ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and express complex legal material quickly and accurately. • Have an impressive command of grammar, punctuation, and plain English. • Consistently pay strong attention to detail and have good organizational skills. • Are able to work independently, consistently meet deadlines, and achieve individual objectives within larger team projects. • Have experience using Westlaw and Microsoft Office products.
