Senior Principal Solutions Architect - DLC (Direct Liquid Cooling), London Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Senior Principal Solutions Architect on our Solutions Architecture Team in London What you’ll achieve As a Senior Principal Solutions Architect, you will take the technical lead during pre-sales engagement, using a consultative approach towards the customer to fully understand their overall business goals. From there, you will translate the client’s business requirements into specific systems or applications for complex technology solutions. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: ​This role is 70% focused on onsite delivery and 30% on presales consulting. We're looking for individuals who can install, validate, and troubleshoot DLC systems in data centers, while also supporting solution scoping and client engagement.​ Onsite Implementation ​ DLC System Installation & Commissioning: Installing cold plates, tubing, CDUs; verifying coolant flow.​ Technologies : Vertiv, Motivair, Usystem ​ Mechanical Assembly & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing leaks, adjusting tubing layout.​ Tools : IR cameras, flow meters, pressure gauges ​ Rack-Level Integration: Aligning DLC components with server and rack infrastructure.​ Technologies : CDU systems, quick disconnects ​ Thermal & Fluid Validation: Measuring temperatures and pressure drops.​ Tools : ANSYS Icepak, handheld sensors ​ Safety & Compliance Checks: Ensuring installations meet ASHRAE and ISO standards. ​ Documentation & Reporting: Installation reports, issue logs, performance summaries.​ Tools : Excel, SharePoint, Jira​ Knowledges about Secondary Fluid Network installation and validation is a must have​ Presales Support​ Solution Scoping & Feasibility: Site surveys, cooling capacity assessments. ​ Technical Presentations: Explaining DLC benefits and deployment plans. ​ Stakeholder Engagement: Aligning expectations with sales and engineering teams. ​ Design Review Participation: Feedback on proposed DLC designs. ​ Cost & BOM Estimation Support: Assisting with material and labour estimates. ​ Essential Requirements •12 to 15 years of related experience in a professional role •Advanced technical writing skills and demonstrated ability to document processes for the customer •Strong customer communication skills •Advanced Knowledge, understanding and application of Project Management concepts and methodologies Desirable Requirements •Bachelor’s degree or higher •Dell Proven Professional Certification Who we are We believe that each of us has the power to make an impact.
