Senior Software Engineer: Backend Department: Engineering Team: Backend Location: Sunnyvale, United States Type: Full-Time **About the role:** As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a critical contributor to Uber’s enterprise platform, building the core platform for automating contracts and invoicing for Uber's large business clients (B2B). Your main challenge will be to take complex, custom deal terms from sales contracts and transform them into standardized, digital data that our systems can easily process. This work directly reduces errors and significantly speeds up payment collections (Account Receivables). You will be responsible for the complete design and implementation of high-scale, mission-critical backend services. ## **About the Team** The team's mission is to ensure Uber's financial systems for business clients are accurate and fully automated. By making sure pricing terms flow automatically from a contract straight to an invoice, we solve major business challenges, including reducing the amount of old, unpaid invoices (Account Receivables).
