Job Description
Harness is the AI Software Delivery Platform company, led by technologist and entrepreneur Jyoti Bansal (founder of AppDynamics, acquired by Cisco for $3.7B). Harness has raised approximately $570M in funding and is valued at $5.5B, backed by leading investors including Goldman Sachs, Menlo Ventures, IVP, Unusual Ventures, Citi Ventures, and more. As AI accelerates code creation, the real bottleneck has shifted to everything after the code – testing, deployments, application security, reliability, compliance, and cost optimization. Harness brings AI and automation to this “outer loop,” helping teams ship software faster while maintaining security and governance throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle.
Powered by Harness AI and the Software Delivery Knowledge Graph, the Harness Platform applies deep context and intelligent automation across the software delivery lifecycle with governance and policy-driven controls embedded throughout the platform.
Over the past year, Harness powered over 185M deployments, 82M builds, 18T flag evaluations, 8M security scans, 9.1B optimized tests, 3T protected API calls, and helped manage $2.8B in cloud spend — enabling customers like United Airlines, Morningstar, and Choice Hotels to accelerate releases by up to 75%, reduce cloud costs by up to 60%, and achieve 10x DevOps efficiency.
With a global team across 26 offices and 25 countries, Harness is shaping the future of AI software delivery — and we’re looking for exceptional talent to help us move even faster.
Position Summary
Harness is looking for a high-energy Partner Marketing Manager to drive pipeline growth through events and partner programs. You'll translate regional sales goals into programs that deliver real results — combining field events and partner campaigns to strengthen how Harness lands in key markets.
You'll own regional field marketing — planning, promoting, and showing up at events — while also running co-branded campaigns with our strategic partners. Expect to be hands-on, travel regularly (up to 25%), and work shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales and Partner teams.
About the role
Events Field Marketing
Own the full lifecycle of field events: executive roundtables, ancillary events at industry conferences, webinars, and customer gatherings — from planning through post-event reporting.
Partner with Sales leadership to align events to target accounts and regional pipeline priorities.
Drive registration-to-attendance conversion and ensure tight sales follow-up after every program.
Build repeatable playbooks so successful programs can scale across regions.
Partner Marketing
Work with cloud and technology partners to plan and execute joint events, co-branded campaigns, and MDF-funded programs.
Create and maintain partner-facing assets: co-branded decks, one-pagers, email templates, and battlecards.
Coordinate a partner marketing calendar with the Partner team and align with partner sales on pipeline goals.
Measurement
Track pipeline sourced, opportunity influence, conversion rates, and ROI across all programs.
Manage your event and partner marketing budget with a focus on efficiency and measurable return.
About you
5+ years in B2B field marketing, partner marketing, or demand generation.
Hands-on experience running in-person and virtual events that directly generated pipeline.
Comfort managing multiple programs simultaneously — you're organized and don't need to be told what to do next.
Experience working closely with Sales and Partner teams to tie marketing activity to revenue.
Analytical instinct: you measure what matters and cut what doesn't.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Background in DevOps, cloud, developer tools, or enterprise SaaS is strongly preferred.
Bonus
Experience building marketing programs with cloud providers, SIs, or resellers.
Familiarity with Salesforce, marketing automation, and event management platforms.
