Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager - Top of Funnel, this full-time engineer will develop full-stack features that improve how members discover and engage with care. You will be part of the Member Growth team, working at the intersection of product, design, and data to deliver intuitive, reliable user experiences at scale.
The Top of Funnel team owns the critical first steps of a member's journey, from registration and authentication to onboarding and provider matching. Your work will directly influence how millions of people access mental healthcare for the first time.
Please note that this is a hybrid role based in San Francisco , with an expectation to be in the office 2–3 days per week at our 2 Embarcadero Ctr. location. Candidates must be based in the San Francisco metro area or able to relocate independently within 90 days of their start date. Occasional travel will be required for team on-sites.
What you’ll do:
Design and build scalable full-stack and front-end services using Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship high-impact features that improve the top of funnel experience for members looking for care
Expand and maintain existing web applications and infrastructure
Debug and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
Contribute to architectural discussions, code reviews, and tech debt prioritization
Advocate for high engineering standards, including test coverage, documentation, and observability
Participate in an on-call rotation to support system reliability and respond to production issues
Collaborate flexibly across time zones, as needed, to support distributed teams and stakeholder
Work with product managers and designers to scope and deliver 0-1 product features
Break down complex requirements into manageable, shippable units
Identify areas for growth and iteration on our application stack and advocate for them on the roadmap
Improve self-service capabilities by evolving system architecture
