Sr. AI Python Engineer At GoodData, we’re rebuilding data analytics for the AI era. At the core of this mission is implementing AI deeply into the GoodData platform. Not as an add-on, but as a first-class citizen. We’re looking for a senior AI Python engineer to accelerate this journey. This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of analytics and work in a dynamic environment that prioritizes innovation and collaboration. WHAT WILL YOU DO? - Design and enhance sophisticated generative AI systems with multiple layers, including agents, workflows, LLM evaluation and monitoring. - Build and maintain text embedding infrastructure, vector search engine, and the retrieval algorithm. - Play a key role in shaping the architecture of our groundbreaking AI solution. - Implement Python-based microservices within Kubernetes, ensuring seamless integration and communication between services in the cloud. - Focus on scalability, performance, and security across our AI infrastructure, contributing to a robust and reliable product. - Work closely with a diverse team of subject-matter experts, including senior engineers, UX designers, and product managers, to bring innovative ideas to life. ABOUT YOU - Proficiency in Python and experience with building microservices. - Familiarity with generative AI concepts, and an interest in building AI-driven solutions. - Experience with cloud-based back-end systems and distributed architectures (such as Kubernetes, Docker, gRPC, Protobuf, Apache Pulsar, AWS, GCP, Azure...). - Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. - You are proactive and self-driven. - Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter. NICE TO HAVE - Knowledge of context engineering, LLM Ops, any of the RAG frameworks (Langchain, LlamaIndex, Haystack etc.), knowledge graphs. - Experience with CI/CD style of development. - Familiarity with data science concepts or building ML infrastructure.
