The Team: Our Finance Tax team in Madrid is a group of high-performing professionals dedicated to navigating the complexities of the global fiscal landscape. The Role: As a Finance Tax Intern, you will dive deep into the world of international corporate taxation and statutory reporting. This isn't just about "crunching numbers"—it’s about understanding the financial heartbeat of a global tech leader. You will support our tax experts in everything from Direct and Indirect Tax compliance to Transfer Pricing and RD credits. We are looking for a detail-oriented student who is eager to learn how a modern finance department operates and who isn't afraid to leverage AI and automation to optimize traditional processes. The work you’ll do: Assisting with Direct Tax compliance obligations and the statutory reporting process. Providing support for Indirect Taxation compliance, such as VAT and Sales Use Tax filings. Supporting the assessment of Withholding Tax (WHT) obligations. Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation, including Master and Local Files. Supporting data gathering and analysis for benchmarking studies and TP calculations. Working on Tax Audit readiness and comprehensive data compilation. Assisting with documentation and reporting for RD Tax Credit works. Contributing to the development and involvement in AI and Automation tools to optimize tax processes. The qualifications you need: Academic Background: Currently enrolled in the final years of a degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Language Skills: Mandatory fluency in English (written and verbal). Technical Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Excel. Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and meticulous attention to detail. Experience: Prior exposure to an accounting or tax environment is highly valued, but not required.
