📢 We’re hiring! \u007C Payroll Tax Associate (Junior Profile) **🌍 Location: Colombia & Kenya 🕘 Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-time) 🌐 Industry: PEO / Payroll & Tax Compliance ** We are looking for a Payroll Tax Associate to support federal and state payroll tax compliance within the PEO industry. This is a junior-level opportunity, ideal for professionals with early experience in payroll or tax who are eager to grow in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. 💼 Role Overview The Payroll Tax Associate is responsible for assisting with payroll tax filings, compliance, research, and issue resolution. The role supports audits, reconciliations, and client inquiries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and internal policies. ✅ Key Responsibilities Research payroll tax laws and compliance requirements (federal, state, and local) Process payroll tax payments, filings, and reconciliations Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax returns Resolve tax notices, discrepancies, and payroll tax issues Assist with audits of corporate tax payments Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper tax coverage Provide timely, high-quality support to clients Maintain accurate case updates in the case management system Stay current on payroll tax regulations and best practices 🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications 1+ year of experience in payroll, tax, or a related field Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Customer-service mindset Results-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment ⭐ Nice to have: FPC Certification or a Technical Degree in Accounting / Finance Experience in PEO or related industries 📩 Interested in growing your career in payroll tax compliance?
