Hercules https://hercules.app is looking for a senior or staff level SEO Content Writer to help us educate the world on what Hercules is, how it works, and why it matters. What will you do? You will own Hercules’ SEO content engine end to end. 1. Identify the highest-value keywords and search opportunities to target 1. e.g. "best AI app builder" or "hercules vs lovable" or "build a CRM" 2. Publish long-form content that is simple, accurate, clear, and useful 3. Monitor and optimize existing content until it ranks highly and drives traffic/signups/revenue 4. Automate your workflow with AI What skills do we expect you to have? We expect candidates to be incredibly strong across all of the following areas: - Writing quality: exceptional long-form writing ability. Our style is terse, simple, clear, convincing, authentic, and useful. We do not accept AI slop. Strong communication is a #1 requirement - SEO: strong understanding of search intent, content structure, on-page SEO, internal linking, content refreshes, and what it takes for content to rank - Commercial sense: write content that ranks AND converts the audience to paid customers - Technical fluency: familiarity with technical concepts like APIs, authentication, hosting, role based access control etc - AI leverage: able to truly 10x your workflow by using the frontier of AI tools well. We expect you to be able to product ~50+ high quality articles a month, if not more What are Hercules’ operating principles? Hercules’ operating principles guide how we make decisions every day. Hercules founding team works in-office in San Francisco (Kearny and Bush). We have a very strong preference for in office. We are open to remote for exceptional candidates who is willing to 1) work in US time zones and 2) travel to the office regularly.
