About the Role We are seeking a highly accomplished data technologist to join our Forward Deployed Engineering Team as Manager, Forward Deployed Engineer — Data 360. This role represents the pinnacle of data platform expertise, focusing on architecting, designing, and building the most complex and sophisticated data solutions to solve our customers' most difficult challenges. You will be the technical conscience and thought leader, translating ambiguous customer data needs into concrete, executable Data 360 solutions. Combines people leadership, data architecture governance, operational excellence, and strategic growth ownership. You will drive transformative data solutions by tackling the technical frontier of intelligent data unification, activation, and AI-grounding. You will build first-of-their-kind, best-in-class data experiences for the world's biggest brands — including enterprise-scale unified data platforms, real-time activation pipelines, AI-ready data foundations, and complex multi-cloud data integration solutions. Your Impact Define Data Architecture: Design, architect, and hands-on develop the most complex and bespoke Data 360 solutions — leveraging the full power of the platform and integrating with enterprise data estates to solve critical customer data challenges Build and Deploy Data Pipelines: Apply extensive hands-on experience to integrate data from external platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS S3), implement Batch Data Transforms, calculated insights, and real-time activation pipelines using Data 360 Lead Engineering Best Practices: Master the Data 360 development process, culture, and platform architecture — define, improve, and enforce engineering best practices for data quality, scalability, governance, and security across all deployed solutions Drive Platform Customisation: Utilise significant direct experience with Salesforce Data 360 to perform advanced configuration, data modeling, and complex development necessary to support and integrate data solutions across clouds Develop Data & Integration Solutions: Design strategic data models — DMOs, DLOs, calculated insights — and build efficient ingestion and transform pipelines to ensure data is ready, optimised, and secure for advanced AI and activation use cases Proactively Remove Technical Blockers: Identify, analyse, and directly resolve the most complex technical challenges during all phases of solution delivery — serving as the ultimate expert for advanced data orchestration, identity resolution failures, and intricate integration issues Drive Data 360 Innovation: Become the foremost expert in the Data 360 platform — leading development of custom data solutions and influencing future product enhancements based on deep field insights Undertake Continuous Learning: Maintain expertise in the latest data platform advancements, AI grounding patterns, and CDP/MDM evolution — proactively integrating knowledge fo ...
