About the Role
As a Merchant Operations Associate you will focus on improving the core merchant experience by resolving operational issues related to menus, content, and equipment. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure merchants have accurate, high-quality menus, fast resolution of equipment issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations on the platform.
You’ll act as a problem-solver and quality driver, identifying recurring issues, improving internal processes, and ensuring that merchants receive clear, timely support.
This role is well suited for someone with 3–4 years of support or contact centre experience who is comfortable responding fast, handling large data sets, operational complexity, spotting patterns, and driving improvements across workflows.
What you’ll be doing
Responsible for creating, updating and maintaining menus / assortments for all active merchant partners on the Wolt platform, and making sure that both text and visuals reflect the Wolt brand
Successfully handle support and troubleshooting in all matters related to gear and equipment in order to ensure optimal operational performance.
Continuously guide merchants towards self-service, educating them on “how things work”, and showing them the best way forward in their collaboration with Wolt when it comes to their assortments.
Ensure menus are accurate, up to date, and meet quality standards
Identify recurring issues and process gaps, and work with cross functional teams to address them
Create automated workflows wherever possible to drive efficiency and reduce manual work within the team
Our humble expectations
3–4 years of experience in inbound or outbound support or contact centre roles.
Experience handling operational or content-related tasks with high attention to detail.
Comfort working with systems, tools, and structured processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify patterns and root causes.
Experience with ticketing or CRM systems.
Basic data handling skills and ability to navigate multiple tools.
Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal.
Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to process improvements.
Being tech savvy and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools will help you greatly in the role
Bonus: Experience in the food, restaurant, hospitality, or marketplace environments
Excellent communication skills in both writing and on the phone
Fluent in Danish and English to be able to both communicate with partners, and create the product selections in Danish and English
Bonus: If you speak Arabic, Turkish, or Persian
Experience with Excel / Google Sheets will be a strong advantage
Structured, detailed and service-oriented
Self-starter with a ''can-do'' attitude and a drive to continuously improve on your own processes while raising the bar.
